First informational announcement

Dear colleagues!
We are glad to inform you that the VIII-th school-workshop “Theory of decision making” will be held in Uzhorod during September 26, 2016 – October 1, 2016. Program of the school-workshop includes lectures.

Topics of the school-workshop:

1. Philosophical and methodological foundations of decision-making theory.
2. Mathematical models and methods of decision-making support and optimization and their applications.
3. Intelligent systems and information technologies of decision-making support.
4. Artificial intelligence methods. Data mining and knowledge discovery.
5. Applied problems of algebra, differential and probabilistic models.
6. Problems of computational mathematics, applied mechanics and computations optimization.
7. Methodological foundations and software systems of electronic learning.

About papers for the school-workshop

The paper could be prepared in one of the official languages of the school-workshop. Authors should submit electronic version of abstract, prepared in Microsoft Word editor (.docx format required). Format of the pages is A4 paper. Required paper size is 1-2 full pages (2-4 pages for plenary papers), margins – 2 cm, paragraph – 1,25 cm, line spacing – single, font – Times New Roman, font size – 12 pt.

Abstracts, accepted for delivery during the school-workshop, will be published before start of the workshop in the school-workshop proceedings. The most interesting abstracts will be recommended for publishing in journals “Naukovyy visnyk UzNU”, “Naukovyy visnyk KNU im.T.Shevchenka”, “Information Theories and Applications” (ISSN 1310-0513), “Information Technologies and Knowledge" (ISSN 1313-0455), “Information Models and Analyses” (ISSN 1314-6416) etc.

Rules for organizing papers

• UDC;
• last names and initials of the authors (center);
• author’s employer organization (center);
• e-mail (address, phone number) for letters;
• title of paper (center, in CAPITAL LETTERS);
• text of abstract;
• list of bibliography.

With abstracts, authors should send a participant application form (see below) to the address of Organizing Committee. An individual application form should be filled for each paper.

Only papers, submitted till September 7, 2016, will be considered. The author will be informed about inclusion in the school-workshop program till September 12, 2016 (second information announcement). Proceedings of the school-workshop will be published before its start.

Registration fee is 15 EUR (for postgraduates – 10 EUR, for students – 5 EUR). It should be paid via card account in bank “Privat” 5168757220407326 Mlavets Yuriy Yuriyovych (cell phone: +38-096-652-61-88).

Sending of the school-workshop proceedings overseas is covered by recipient.

For those participants of the school-workshop, who would like to publish abstracts, but does not have an opportunity to come, registration fee is 5 EUR.
